Beartooth Run 2012: Coal Is King

Between the towns of Bearcreek and Washoe Montana stands the remains of the Smith Mine. The rusted buildings serve as tombstones for the miners that died here on or around February 26-27, 1943 in a mine explosion. Today only the cattle use the land but there is talk of reopening the mine for the coal-coal is king in around this part of Montana and Wyoming; what would the cost be?
